Grade 8 Information Night at CCI
Gr. 8 Information Night is being held on January 7, 2025 at Collingwood Collegiate Institute. Inclement weather day will be January 8, 2025.
Grade 7 Immunizations
All Grade 7 students are once again being offered three free vaccines through the health unit’s school immunization program. These vaccines are free only through the school immunization program and not at your family doctor.
These vaccines include: Hepatitis B (Hep B), Human Papillomavirus vaccine (HPV) and Meningococcal. The clinics for these three vaccines are being scheduled for Grade 7 students starting this fall.
While all three vaccines are strongly recommended, Meningococcal vaccine is required by law, under the Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA), for school attendance.
More information will be sent home prior to the school clinic for review by parents and students.
For more information about routine vaccinations, visit the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit Grade 7 Immunization Program page.
